About

Hi, I’m Jakob — the person behind Nesdwell.

I started this blog while living in a 19-square-meter student studio, trying to figure out how a bed, a desk, and a couch could coexist in one room without the whole thing feeling like a dorm (or a furniture showroom gone wrong).

Turns out, a lot of us are in the same boat. Cities keep getting more expensive, apartments keep getting smaller, and somehow we’re all expected to just figure it out. Nesdwell is my attempt to make that a little easier — practical layout ideas, zone-by-zone breakdowns, and pieces that actually earn their square footage, all without pretending you have a 90m² Scandinavian loft to work with.

If you’re a student, a young renter, or just someone making the most of a small space, you’re in the right place. Welcome in.
